GALLERY MODICUM (Latin for "little"), a gallery where the art is small but the ideas are big.
The idea was conceived by artist, Michal Tkachenko, to build a miniature gallery and invite other artists to create original work to exhibit in the gallery spaces.
There is a universal fascination people have when the scale of something familiar is changed. The invited artists all took on the challenge of creating their art on a micro scale with excitement and renewed discovery of their own artistic practices.
