New work by 4 sisters: Teresa Porter, Laura Koch, Michal Tkachenko, and Anna Vandas.
(small scale) is running as an un-official East Side Culture Crawl Exhibit, Officially at Little Mountain Gallery in Vancouver, Canada (195 East 26th Avenue, just off of Main Street).
Opening Reception: Wednesday, November 18, 7-11pm and running from Nov. 18th -29th.

The Whodunit? OCAD Mystery Art Sale is OCAD's signature annual event, this year on November 18– 21, 2008. Public Preveiw runs November 18-20. Gala Preview runs November 18. Public Art Sale runs November 21. It takes place at the Ontario College of Art and Design (100 McCaul Street, Toronto, Canada) at www.ocad.ca.

Bloc Projects presents solo exhibition, Antoinette, opening in Sheffield, UK (71 Eyre Lane, Sheffield S1 4RB), from October 10-24, 2009 with the Preview on October 9.

AWOL Gallery hosts its annual Square Foot Show in Toronto, Canada (100a Ossington Avenue, 2nd floor). Three of my newest pieces have been included. The exhibition takes place August 15 - September 6, 2009. The Opening Reception is on Friday, August 15 at 7pm.

Chelsea College of Art and Design presents its Postcard Auction, Going Postal. You will find a small Metalhead of mine in the exhibition taking place at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London, UK (12 Carleton House Terrace, SW1Y SA4).

NEWS - JUNE/JULY 2009

 

This year's Leytonstone Arts Trail is pleased to announce the ex-Woolworths space as a confirmed venue for the trail, from the 27th of June to the 19th of July 2009. My small confectionary series will be included in this group exhibition. Private View: June 26, 2009 evening at Woolworths (817 High Road Leytonstone, London, E11 1HQ, UK).

 

Bow Arts Trust Open Studios is taking place June 19 - 21. You will find my studio in Studio E1 (183 Bow Road, London, E3 2SJ, UK). Private View: Friday, June 19 from 6:30pm. Saturday & Sunday: 1 - 5pm.

11th Annual Rotary Art Auction
The Rotary Club of Calgary Sarcee will be hosting its eleventh annual "Art from the Heart" benefit dinner and Art Auction Friday, May 8, 2009, at the Red and White Club in Calgary, Canada. Included are at least three of my River Series.

The Canadian Portait
While Canada awaits its own upcoming National Portrait Gallery, Cube Gallery will celebrate the genre with work from 10 Canadian Artists in the exhibition, The Canadian Portait. 3-5 of my Metal Head Series are included in the exhibition that runs from March 5 - April 5, 2009. Solo exhibition, The Human Right, documents my 7 months in post-war Liberia. Opening at the Havana Gallery in Vancouver, Canada, from January 4 - 17, 2009 it marks the 60th anniversary of the International Declaration of Human Rights.
