The Vancouver
Friends for Life Society works with individuals living with
life-threatening illnesses. I have contributed one piece to the 15th
Annual Art for Life Gala Dinner and Art Auction, taking
place November 15, 2008 at the Rocky
Mountaineer Station (1756 Cottrell Street, Vancouver,
Canada). Another option is the Sweet Obsessions Dessert Reception (which
I highly recommend). For tickets: 604.682.5992 ext. 4 and for

The Whodunit? OCAD
Mystery Art Sale is OCAD's signature annual event, this
year on November 19 – 24, 2008. It’s
an exhibition of original art by well-known and celebrity artists,
OCAD faculty, alumni and students. You won’t know who the
artist is until you buy a piece. Every piece measures 5.5 x 7.5
inches and is a set price. Like it - buy it - turn it over and
see Whodunit! Try to find mine. It takes place at the Ontario
College of Art and Design (100 McCaul Street, Toronto,
Canada) at www.ocad.ca. |
