Paint Landscape Photo

Jacana Gallery is pleased to announce paint-landscape-photo: an exhibition of works by four artists working across mediums to describe diverse physical and emotional  landscapes.

From very flat, abstracted landscapes to the very painterly in oils, to photography manipulated physically with over-painting, scratching, degrees-removed through paper negatives, and digital renegotiation, these four artists approach the rendering of landscape across mediums and processes generating both contrasting difference and surprising relationships.

Luckhurst is based in Alberta, Hall in Toronto, Tkachenko is a former Vancouverite currently in the UK, and Bradley-Shoup is in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

OPENING RECEPTION: Saturday, October 4th, 2-4pm
2435 Granville Street, V6G 3G5, Vancouver, Canada
